This week at La Vernia Junior High, we will be celebrating Inclusive Schools Week. Throughout the week, students will be made aware of all the great things the Junior High campus does to make sure all students have a safe, accessible, and engaging place to learn. Students will hear from faculty and staff on ways they have made their classrooms and school campus a place where all students can experience success. Students will be encouraged to continue including all students in both academic and social activities and to appreciate how varied experiences can not only shape who we are, but also influence others. Students will have the opportunity to think of how they felt when they were left out and ways they can prevent others from feeling the same. The Junior High campus looks forward to an amazing week celebrating Inclusive Schools! A big thank you to the Junior High Student Council for their organizing and planning of this wonderful event. Thank you also to our wonderful library staff for assisting with creating the video and supporting Student Council efforts.
