🎓🐻 It’s GRADUATION DAY! 🐻🎓
On Tuesday, our seniors made one last walk through the halls—decked out in caps, gowns, and proud smiles—as students and teachers cheered them on every step of the way. 💙🤍
From kindergarten dreams to high school memories, they’ve grown, learned, and now they’re ready to take on the world. Tonight, we celebrate not just their accomplishments, but their incredible journey.
📣 Join us for the Class of 2025 Graduation Ceremony TONIGHT at 8 PM at Bear Stadium! Let’s fill the stands with blue and white and show our Bears the love they deserve! 🐾🎉
Congratulations, Class of 2025—you did it! 🎉 The future is bright, and once a Bear, always a Bear! 💙🐾

Dear LVHS Families and Staff,
We have an exciting announcement! Next year, our district will become a 1:1 Chromebook campus. This means that every student at the high school will be assigned a Chromebook to use for classes at home and at school. This gives every student the same opportunity to access and complete assignments.
Chromebooks will be checked out to students at registration or on the first day of classes. We know there will be many questions regarding the use and care of the Chromebooks and the responsibilities of the students, and so we have this document outlining the LVHS 1:1 Student Chromebook Policy available for your convenience.
We look forward to a fabulous 2025/2026 school year, and hope you have a safe and healthy summer vacation!

Congratulations to Kailey Rumfield! Kailey will be attending Texas A&M University in the fall, and she will be majoring in horticulture. Great job, Kailey!

You are cordially invited :-)

Congratulations to LVHS sophomore student, Kensley Shelton, whose short story, Dragon of the Desert, was recently published in the University of the Incarnate Word’s yearly magazine, Quirk! You can find her story written under her professional pen name of Bernadette Remington. Please also note, she was the only high school student published in the magazine outside of the "high school" section - her work is included with the other university students. Enjoy the short story, and remember that name. At the age of 16, “Bernadette” has just completed her first novel and is shopping for a publisher. She has big dreams and a bright future ahead!

Mrs. Hunter’s Law Practicum students started their final field trip with a full, 3-hour tour of the Bexar County Jail. They were able to see everything from intake to maximum security and were even able to try some delicious jail food! They then had lunch in downtown San Antonio before heading over to the San Antonio Police Department’s Helicopter Detail for a tour of their unit. It was a great day!
