🍎🥪🥗 This summer LVISD will distribute free meals to all eligible children via the Summer Food Service Program administered by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). To verify the potential eligibility of each child, we are asking households to complete a household income application. Meal applications can be filled out online at https://lvisdchildnutrition.com. 🍎🥪🥗

On May 22nd, LVHS held an Appreciation Brunch sponsored by the 18 Plus workforce students to present certificates to the businesses in appreciation for their support in working and partnering with our class and giving our students an opportunity to train and practice basic workplace skills. We had Sammy's Mexican Restaurant, The Den, HEB, Big Bear Lumber, Witte's Bar B Que, the LV High School Cafeteria, and La Vernia ISD custodial & Bus Transportation. We are so thankful to our district administration and high school principal for their support in attendance. It was a great turnout with students, parents, and staff. Students also had the opportunity to share their digital resumes with guests and highlight their work skills.

A friendly reminder for seniors & their parents: Graduates may not have colored hair, must be clean-shaven, wear no facial piercings, and boys may not wear earrings to the ceremony. Thank you!

Graduation Day is almost here - our junior class escorts are ready to lead some seniors to graduation! The countdown is on!
